Shore Break Special

Shore Break Special

This week we’ve seen mixture of conditions down at the beach, with the only certainty being good shore break coming through at high tide.

We’ve seen between 2 – 4ft of swell for most of the week, which nobody in the water was complaining about. In fact word has been that Sydney’s beaches have had swell for most of the summer which previously has been unheard of – Lets hope it carries through to the winter.

Although the swell has been fairly steady, conditions have not always been their best with the winds putting a lot of bump and wobble on the surface. Whenever the ocean goes a little messy I like to however round the shore break to see if I can get us into any colourful sand-barrels. This is one of my favourite ways to shoot, I’ve always loved playing in the shore break – it’s like playing a game of rugby with the water. Luckily the shore’y gods were shinning down on us and I was able to get a few shots in.

I’ve met a load of really amazing people over the past few weeks since being back in Oz, great to meet you all and I hope to see you in the water again soon
