Beach day in Sunny Sydney 38°C – Neil Banek Photography

Today was perfect for a beach day in Sydney with temperatures reaching 38°C earlier. unfortunately with it came a NE wind which looks to be getting stronger overnight. This caused a serious wobble on the 3-4ft swell coming through from the east.

This morning I did a bit of beach hopping to try and find some of the best breaks to shoot, which ended up being Freshwater for most of the morning, however I thought I’d take you for a little tour down the southern peninsula beaches.

Forecast is for large swell but a strong wind which will cause havoc on the beaches by the looks of things, but hopefully it’s not too bad and we can all find some good waves over the weekend.
